Clock settings
Allen & Heath desk in the system:
- A&H Dante Card = Preferred Master⇒ setting in Dante Controller
- Allen & Heath Dante Card: enable sync to external ⇒ setting in Dante Controller
- The mixing console with the master Dante card should be set to
internal clock, which makes the Dante card the master in the Dante network while deriving its clock from the mixer. - All other devices clock set to external, or their own Dante card as source (see diagram from A&H)
If multiple Dante cards are in the system, only one should be set as preferred master and only one should have “enable sync to external” turned on.
