Terms of Use for Composed Live<\/h1><\/div>

1. Provider and scope<\/h2>\n

Composed Live (composedlive.com) is provided by Steffen Wutzke (SWu Labs), Scheppe Gewissegasse 7, 35039 Marburg, Germany, email: mail@steffenwutzke.de<\/a>.<\/p>\n

These terms of use apply to any use of Composed Live, with or without an account, during the beta, during the trial, and with a license. Purchases of a license in the shop on swulabs.com are also governed by the general terms and conditions and the cancellation policy there. If the two conflict, the shop’s terms take precedence for the purchase.<\/p>\n

2. What Composed Live is<\/h2>\n

Composed Live is a tool for sound engineers, bands, venues and event companies: setlists and running orders, songs, notes, toggles and fields, a live view for the show, sync between devices and sharing with others.<\/p>\n

Composed Live does not control any equipment. It does not connect to mixing consoles, lighting or other devices. Notes, toggles and times are reminders. You remain responsible for the running of your show and the settings on your equipment.<\/p>\n

3. Account<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Without an account, everything stays on your device. You need an account to sync, share and use a license.<\/li>\n
  • An account belongs to one person. Your details must be accurate, and you must confirm your email address.<\/li>\n
  • Keep your password secret. If you suspect someone else has access, change it; doing so signs out all other devices.<\/li>\n
  • You must be at least 16 years old. If you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or guardian to buy a license.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    4. Beta, trial and license<\/h2>\n
      \n
    • Beta: Until 31 December 2026, Composed Live is in beta and free for everyone with all features. During this time the app may still contain errors and features may change. Your data is kept after the beta ends.<\/strong><\/li>\n
    • Trial: After the beta, once you have confirmed your email address, you can use Composed Live free of charge with all features for 14 days. The trial ends on its own; it does not create a subscription or any obligation to pay.<\/li>\n
    • After the beta or the trial, you need a license to edit and sync. Without a license the app stays in read-only mode: you can still see all your data and export it, but no longer change anything.<\/li>\n
    • A license applies to one account. It is bought in the shop on swulabs.com and activated in the app with the license key. Price and term are as stated in the shop’s offer.\n<\/li>\n
    • You may not pass on your license key or use it for more than one account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      5. Your content<\/h2>\n

      What you create in Composed Live remains yours. You only permit us to store, transmit and display your content as far as necessary to run the app, for example to sync it or to show it to the people you share it with.<\/p>\n

      You are responsible for your content. It must not infringe the rights of others or be unlawful. You only enter information about other people, such as the names of band members or crew, as far as you are permitted to and it is necessary for your work.<\/p>\n

      You only store lyrics, sheet music or other protected works of third parties if you are entitled to do so.<\/p>\n

      6. Sharing, groups and public links<\/h2>\n

      • In bands, venues and companies, you share content with groups. Group members see what is shared with the group and, depending on the group’s rights, can also edit it.<\/li>\n
      • Content you share with the “Public” group can be seen by anyone who has the link, even without an account. Do not share anything confidential there. You can revoke links at any time.<\/li>\n
      • Other members see your username. Choose one that is not offensive and does not imitate other people or brands.<\/li>\n
      • Shared content also belongs to the band, venue or company. If you leave a group or delete your account, content you shared with a group remains available to the others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        7. What is not allowed<\/h2>\n

        You must not misuse Composed Live, in particular not:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • circumvent security measures, use other people’s accounts or try out passwords,<\/li>\n
        • burden or attack the app or the server with automated mass requests,<\/li>\n
        • distribute spam, malware or unlawful content through the app,<\/li>\n
        • resell the app or access to it, or offer it as your own service, without our consent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          8. Availability and backups<\/h2>\n

          We strive for reliable operation but cannot promise uninterrupted availability, for example during maintenance, outages at the host, or without an internet connection. That is why the app is built to work offline on your device, especially during a show.<\/p>\n

          Please also back up important content regularly using the app’s backup function.<\/p>\n

          We keep developing Composed Live, so features may change. We will not restrict essential features you have paid a license for during its term.<\/p>\n

          9. Termination, deletion and suspension<\/h2>\n

          You can delete your account in the app at any time. Your private content is then deleted; shared content remains as described in section 6. A paid license is not refunded as a result, unless the shop’s terms or the law provide otherwise.<\/p>\n

          If you breach these terms, we may first notify you and, if the breach continues, suspend your account. In the case of serious breaches, such as attacks on the app or unlawful content, we may suspend immediately and remove the content concerned.<\/p>\n

          10. Liability<\/h2>\n
            \n
          • We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.<\/li>\n
          • For slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes use of the app possible in the first place and on which you may rely. In that case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.<\/li>\n
          • During free use, meaning without an account, during the beta or during the trial, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence, unless the first point applies.<\/li>\n
          • For loss of data, we are only liable up to the amount that would have been incurred had you backed up your data regularly (see section 8).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            11. Privacy<\/h2>\n

            How we handle your data is described in the privacy policy: swulabs.com\/datenschutzerklaerung\/composed-live\/<\/p>\n

            12. Changes to these terms<\/h2>\n

            If we change these terms, we will inform you at least four weeks in advance by email or in the app. If you do not agree with the changes, you can delete your account before they take effect. For a license you have already paid for, the previous terms apply until the end of its term.<\/p>\n

            13. Final provisions<\/h2>\n
              \n
            • German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you live remain unaffected.<\/li>\n
            • If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Marburg, Germany.<\/li>\n
            • We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.<\/li>\n
            • Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
